2019.12.06 Update
The ULVAC-PHI and PHI CHINA Multiple Surface Analysis Application Seminar was held in Liyang, Jiangsu Province on November 25th. Over 40 users attended the conference.
The XPS Workshop was held at the Centre of Excellence for Advanced Research in Fluid Flow (CARIFF) on November 12. The workshop gained an overwhelming number of 50 participants against our initial target of 20, managing to attract members of other higher learning institutes from Kuala Lumpur to as far as Sabah in East Malaysia.
On January 29, an open house seminar was held at the National Tsing Hua University (NTHU) who is using the PHI Quantera II with Argon Gus Cluster Ion Gun (Ar-GCIB).
ULVAC-PHI took part in the NMSSA (National Meeting of Surface Science and Application) held from October 12 to 15 in Suzhou, Jiangsu, China.
ULVAC-PHI took part in the 7th Chinese National Conference on Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry (SIMS-China VII) held from October 9 to 12 at the Suzhou Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool International Conference Center in Suzhou, Jiangsu, China.
On April 14, Woosin Cryovac and ULVAC-PHI held the Korean Users' Meeting at the Intercontinental Seoul COEX in Seoul, Korea.
On May 18, the AES Open House Seminar was held at Tsinghua University, School of Materials Science and Engineering, in Beijing, China. The PHI 710 was installed at this laboratory last year which was presented to the participants through this seminar.
On April 14, Woosin Cryovac and ULVAC-PHI held the Korean Users' Meeting at the JW Marriott Hotel Seoul in Seoul, Korea.
Shenzhen Tsinghua University Open house Seminar was successfully held in the Lecture Hall of Shenzhen Tsinghua University Graduate School from 31st March to 1st April this year.
The annual JASIS exhibition will be held at the Makuhari Messe from September 7 to 9, 2016.
On June 1, 2016, ULVAC-PHI held the annual ULVAC-PHI Show & Technical Lecture at the AIJ Building in Tokyo.
The event was a full house with many attendees taking notes while listening closely to the lectures and actively participating in the question-and-answer session.
